在南方以南的广东,由中山大学举办的“广东省高校诗歌邀请赛”至今已达七届,面对这份感人的虔诚和执著,我们似乎会略感欣慰。然而,翻看一下这些获奖的诗歌集,一种“一代不如一代”的感觉却油然而生,令我们不得不直面这份无奈的尴尬。
如果说南方的文化底蕴终究不及北方的深厚,那么让我们看看总是新诗策源地的北大,这种现象也并不乐观。《1978——1988:北大诗选》的出版的确曾令我们激动过一阵子,然而我们不得不承认这样一个事实,该诗集在总体上意识上,更多的是渲染了一种对昔日诗歌辉煌的怀旧情绪,而在校学生的人选作品只有屈指可数的寥寥几篇。这就不免让我们产生这样的疑:该书的出版是当代校园诗歌复兴的前奏还是对当代校园诗歌祭奠的最后的挽歌?
今天,我们或许会偶尔怀念一些故去的文字,感动于当年校园诗人那种对青春的狂热和对理想的执著,但这仅仅是“偶尔”而已,更多的时候我们是在进行着遗忘。在商品经济意识无孔不入的今天,校园这一片曾是“纯文学的天空”也难逃此劫,那些撩人心扉的青春诗会终成为渐去渐远的记忆,兼职、学电脑、考研、出国等等这些现实的事情充斥着我们的头脑,社会竞争激烈和理性意识的增强无可避免地让我们日变得现实与世俗,就连诗歌的原动力——爱情也不再流行这种无名份的浪漫,物质与金钱很大程度上支配了我们的选择。想一想“校园诗人”这一称号当年曾赢得了多少仰慕的目光,可如今,校园诗人成了“才子”与“疯子”的杂合体,这里面除了有些许的赞美外,更多地包含着揶揄的味道。
或许,我们当中许多人当年曾是那么热烈地挚爱着诗歌的,甚至今天仍在内心深处眷着,而今他们不写诗不读诗,只是为了抗拒现代这种流行的却不知所云的文字。校园不是封闭的天国,它始终和社会存在着千丝万缕的关系。诗歌也是如此,从“五四”时期的新诗革命开始到上世纪七十年代末的朦胧诗运动再到延至今天的后新诗潮,这几次重大的转变无一不对校园歌影响深远。后新诗潮运动深受后现代主义的影响,后现代主义诗人经常表现出对无选择性技法的偏爱乐于突出那些不登大雅的事物,而且拒绝相信优雅的形式可能带来的抚慰,这对于尚处在充满幻想与美好憧憬的校园学生来说无疑是难以接受的。同时,后现代主义诗人对于贵族倾向的否定以及平民意识的张扬,对于文化的冷漠乃至亵渎,艺术观念的浸漫以及无序化导致的杂乱无章,都旨在反对核心化或建立规范的任何意图。这些与深受传统教育且社会阅历浅薄的大学生无疑也是格格不入的。后现代拒绝传统浪漫的宣泄,无动于衷及对于神圣不满不在乎的态度,自然激发了传统道德的反感和抗议。如果说由古典诗歌转向现代主义的创作是一种艰难的抉择,那么由现代主义的创作倾向后现代主义的追求则是痛苦的膻变。而这种膻变的代价是巨大的,越来越多的朝圣者逐渐离开了这片神圣的领地拒绝了他们的介入,而独守这片领地和先锋者则将文字的围城越砌越高,外面的人再也看不清里面的风景。
我无意判断也无法判断这是一种迷失也无法弄清楚到底是我们背叛了诗歌还是诗歌遗弃了我们。我只是清晰地知道:诗歌正逐渐离我们远去。
